We have a very exciting beginning of summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First of all, Polish ciders won prizes in International Cider Championship which took place during The Bath and West Show in May. We have four winners with a total of 10 medals. Cider Sicero took part in The Wine &amp; Cider tasting in Poznan last weekend and was highly rated by professional sommeliers. You can read more about Cydr Ignac\u00f3w <a href=\"http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/index.php\/2018\/06\/05\/cydr-ignacow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Cydr-Pe%C5%82nia-1078244812306270\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Cydr Pe\u0142nia<\/strong><\/a> (literary it means Full Moon Cider) by Przemek Iwanek \u2013 he made The Old England cider inspired by West Country ciders (6.7% ABV), and he made also a limited edition of Banana Split Cider (banana milkshake flavoured cider \u2013 sounds great). Moreover, to celebrate the creation of his brand, he collaborated with <a href=\"http:\/\/seryrzemieslnicze.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sery Rzemie\u015blnicze<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 a company which made and sells cheese \u2013 to create a cider flavoured cheese called \u2013 of course \u2013 Full Moon Cider Cheese.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_343\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-343\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/ser.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-343\" src=\"http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/ser-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/ser-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/ser-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/ser-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ciderfrompoland.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/ser.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-343\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 Cydr Pe\u0142nia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Przemek also took part in judging ciders in the first edition of The Homemade Cider Competition &#8220;Pomona&#8221;. Many home cider makers entered to have their cider being judged by professionals. The results were announced recently on the Facebook page. The best cider makers are Marek Jurgielewicz, Artur Pasieczny and Wac\u0142aw Kraso\u0144.<\/p>\n<p>In Warsaw during Warsaw Beer Festival in May there were also cider tastings hosted by Przemek.<\/p>\n<p>We are so happy that Polish craft cider stage is very vibrant and promising.
